Studio Notes

Spring is here, new buds have been coming out early this year.

Maybe it's a good time for me to sprout a new bud as well.

I see this Blog as a more intimate way to connect with you, my art-lover fans, students and collectors, as I share about my art making and other reflections that inform my process.

My creative process is not linear.

My timing is not consistent.

I often review, revise, refine what I publish many times over.

My muse is capricious and it's taken me decades to accept that. But accepting I must, or else she doesn't return to me.

I have to trust the timing and the unpredictability of my creative output. In other words "The Goddess only knows what, when and how much I will make."

If you don't see anything new for a while, don't worry, just come back later...
In the meantime, leave me a comment below, go visit my IG and FB pages, browse deeper into this site and enjoy.

And that's it for now. Thank you for being here, I hope you come back.

Since it is Spring related, here is a pic of my latest big painting
"The Midnight Garden" - Acrylics on Canvas - 40 x 40 in or 100 x 100 cm
