Sunbathing by the Creek

Second painting of that same series of abstract explorations with yellows & oranges. I am loving this process and the results!

Am getting back into doing pure abstracts and LOVING it!  Over the years, I have always had a special place for abstracts in my heart, but never painted them regularly -  this is one of the reasons I wasn't showing them on this website. With Spring, I am starting a new phase in which I want to dedicate more time and energy to abstract explorations as they have always informed the rest of my work in one way or another.
