Sunrise and crashing waves... that's what I've been painting in the last few days. The all came from abstract gesture paintings, unplanned. And it's been loads of fun to capture in painting what I have felt many times watching the ghosts of Pacific waves crash into a red sun...

This is an oil painting on 3/4" cradled panel with light wood sides. Unframed, but ready to hang nonetheless.
